I began this beautiful bowl of goodness by first creating the plum garnish. Then I blended a frozen banana with vanilla almond milk and cup of frozen blueberries for the base of this smoothie. I also made a lighter smoothie to blend in and make the swirls. I reserved the fresh blueberries and plum for garnishing the top.

METHOD 1. Select and assemble garnishes. Slice plum and make plum rose, if desired. 2. Make the dark smoothie base. Add ingredients to blender jar and blend until smooth. Pour into desired serving bowl (or pour equally two small bowls).. 3. Rinse blender jar before adding the ingredients to make the light-coloured smoothie swirl. Blend ingredients until smooth. Pour into the bowl(s) containing the dark smoothie base. Drag a toothpick or wooden skewer through the smoothie layers, creating the desired swirling design. COOKING TIPS
