Machine-appliquéd wall hanging

The pansies in my springtime garden were the inspiration for this machine-appiquéd wall hanging. I hand dyed pieces of white cotton in order to obtain some of the mauve and purple variations. I also used commercial cotton and poly-cottons in various shades of yellow, purple and green. Poly-cotton and metallic threads were applied using a freestyle of machine appliqué.
